Ohhh! How I wish I was in New York right now!
I have a strange obsession with all things MARVEL so as I was flipping through my new Vogue, I instantly fell head-over-heels in love with this editorial.
Photographer Annie Leibovitz went behind the scenes of the new Broadway musical "SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK" to shoot this fashion editorial for Vogue's December issue.
What's more exciting? Spider-Man in his spandex outfit or his villain's masks?
Or how about Mary Jane's extravagant wardrobe, ranging from ALEXANDER McQUEEN chiffon to MARCHESA hand-painted crinoline to DIOR HAUTE COUTURE organza???
I'm gonna choose the latter of the two! *sigh*

CAPTIVE AUDIENCE
Mary Jane, in an Alexander McQueen silk chiffon bustier dress, falls into the clutches
of the Green Goblin. Will Spider-Man save the day?

DAMSEL IN DISTRESS
Mary Jane fends off the multibladed Swiss Miss
in a Marchesa organza ball gown.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
The ill-intentioned Carnage goes after Mary Jane,
in a Marchesa hand painted crinoline ball gown.

WEB OF DESIRE
The star-crossed Peter and Mary Jane,
wrapped in a Dior Haute Couture hand-painted satin organze dress.
