You can add me to this illustrious list...no one but the Chiggy's staff has touched my hair since the day I first walked in there. Loves them!
I found Chiggy's on Facebook and made an appointment for a consultation. I was introduced to a wonderful and talented stylist by the name of Simone.
I was so pleased with the work she had done, I made this my new home for all my hair needs.
Unfortunately, the owner of the salon Patience made it very difficult to enjoy my time there, as she was a negative person and seemed to care more
about herself than the clients. Her staff were constantly
walking on eggshells.
I filed a complaint with her as I was not happy with the front lace wig that I had ordered. Not only did it take more than two months to arrive,
the quality was bargin basement. For the kind of money that we pay to have our hair done, she was full of excuses and blamed her staff for things
that she was responsible for.
As much as I loved seeing Simone it became very difficult to be in that atmosphere.
It is really a shame when you have the potential to have a business with such great talent, not realizing if you treat others well it will come back to you.
I have made the decision not to go back to this establishment and go elsewhere.
I would not recommend this salon to anyone, as it has left a bad taste.
WOW!! it almost sounds like a different place you went to. I have been going to Chiggy's for the past 2 & a half years and Patience does my hair. Not only does she do an awesome job, I find it relaxing. I now have most of my friends going there and they all love everything in that place. If i did not know any better i would have maybe believed you. GIRLS ALL I CAN TELL YOU IS GO CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF and if you do i guarantee you this... THIS BECOMES YOUR SALON..they are that good :)
Absolutely love Chiggys :).Patience is not only cool, warm & professional but is excellent a what she does. She is the best hair stylist in town. Highly recommend.
Let me start off by saying I love Chiggy's! I don't agree with the negative review at all. I went there because a good friend of mine found her on www.chiggyonline.com, went there and her hair looks the best it's ever looked. I saw Patience and she took a lot of time in the beginning to find out about me, my routine, and my hair woes. After we talked she made me feel confident and gave me a fabulous new look. I used their virgin indian hair and I absolutely love the way it feels and falls. She took her time with the haircut and explained everything she was doing. I ended up with the best extensions and haircut I have ever had. She was very approachable and pleasant to talk to. I felt like we had been friends for years. She wrote down everything she used on my hair and and gave it to me and she told me that if I had any issues with the cut or problems styling it myself to never hesitate to call her. That made me feel like she really cared about my happiness as a client and that means a lot to me. I had a great experience and I highly recommend her.
Let me start off by saying that I DO NOT promote anything that I havent' tried out and or have used personally. And I would never recommend anything that isn't top quality.
I have received nothing but amazing service at Chiggys and more importantly, my hair has NEVER looked better since going there.
If you have had a less than stellar experience there, I would encourage you to talk to Patience personally and I am sure that she'll do her best to make it right for you.

Hi Shannae,
After reading your post re "I have a NEW Hairdresser!!", I immediately made an appointment to get my hair done (weave). However, the receptionist didn't book me with Patience. Would it be best that I ask for Patience? Have you had your hair styled by any of the other stylists?
Any insight beforehand would be appreciated. Many thanks!
I've only gotten my hair done by Patience, so I would recommend going with her :)
Hi Shannae, I was reading your post on chiggys and I have made decision to get my hair done there..I am planning to do a partial weave..this is my FIRST time ever putting any weave in my hair..i'm having a difficult time deciding on what weave I should buy..looking at your photos from the above post your hair looks like its total yours..if you can please let me know what brand you use that would be great an what type of hair it is that would be most helpful..
