Toronto, ON – April 6, 2009 – On Saturday April 25, come and discover one of the best-kept-secrets of prestigious Yorkville neighborhood: Chiggy’s Touch Salon. Celebrating their second year in business, this curl conscious salon will also put a philanthropic twist on the anniversary by raising money for The Girlchild Network in Zimbabwe – all well sipping on wine, tasting treats and indulging in African beats.
“The Stephan Lewis Foundation is very close to my heart, and I wanted to make a contribution to support this very important cause,” says Patience Chodokufa, owner and curly hair expert of Chiggy’s Touch Salon, “We are proud to contribute 100% of gift certificates sold during the day to the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to help raise awareness and funds for the Network, and our two year anniversary is the perfect platform.”
The salon has become famous for their dry cutting hair techniques and professional styling of curly hair of all ethnicities.
